Interior designer / Interior Architect (x/m/f)
As a traditional Hamburg-based furnishing company, we have stood for premium interior design for over one hundred years and are among the most renowned owner-managed businesses in the high-end sector in Hamburg.
Bornhold represents a furnishing style that combines national and international design with the finest materials and exclusive textiles. Our manufacturers in the private and office sector include internationally recognized brands such as Flexform, Walter Knoll, Edra, Poltrona Frau, Interlübke, Giorgetti, Schramm Werkstätten, and Wittmann.
Your responsibilities:
- Professional consultation, planning and sales of our collections
- Planning of individual, holistic furnishing concepts
- Independent conduct of sales negotiations with customers: from preparing quotations and budget planning to concluding contracts
- Close cooperation with our partners in the areas of kitchen, bathroom, and lighting design
- Participation in the design of our showroom
Your Profile:
- Many years of professional experience in furnishing private homes and commercial properties, ideally in the high-end furniture retail sector.
- Creativity and interior architectural planning expertise.
- Self-reliant and structured work approach in a full-time position.
- Positive charisma and enjoyment in working with our discerning customers.
- Business acumen
- Excellent Language Skills – preferably German, Spanish and English

Annual trade fair visits to IMM Cologne, Salone del Mobile in Milan, and Maison et Objet in Paris are part of ongoing professional development, along with factory visits and training sessions with our manufacturers in Germany and Italy.
We offer you a permanent employment contract with a fixed base salary plus additional performance-based commission.
